These SMS Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the text messaging program operated by Lightning Logistics Carriers Inc. ("Lightning Logistics," "we," "us," or "our"), an independent contractor for FedEx Ground in Central Florida. By providing your mobile number to us, you agree to these Terms.

SMS program terms at a glance

Program: Application and hiring updates for job applicants. These are conversational/operational messages — not marketing.
How to opt in: Submit an application at lightningfxg.com/careers.html and provide your mobile number, where a notice states we may text you about your application.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies; we only text when there is something relevant to your application.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt out (STOP): Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time.
Help (HELP): Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at info@lightningfxg.com / (689) 600-7280.
Privacy: We do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

1. Program description

Our text messaging program sends application- and hiring-related messages to individuals who apply to drive with us and provide their mobile number. Messages may include confirmation that we received your application, scheduling of screenings or interviews, orientation reminders, and answers to questions about your application. These messages are conversational and operational and are not marketing or promotional.

2. How you opt in (consent)

You may opt in to receive text messages in either of two ways:

Online application: submit your mobile number through our online job application at lightningfxg.com/careers.html, where the form states that we may contact you by text about your application, that message and data rates may apply, and that you may reply STOP to opt out, with a link to these Terms. Providing your number is not required to submit an application.
Text to apply: text the keyword APPLY (or a similar word such as DRIVE, JOB, or HIRING) to (689) 600-7280 to request our application link. By texting us first, you are requesting information and consenting to a reply text; message and data rates may apply, and you may reply STOP at any time to opt out.

In both cases, consent is given directly to Lightning Logistics Carriers Inc., is specific to application and hiring messages, is not a condition of applying or of any purchase, and is never shared with third parties.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your application status. We only send texts when there is something relevant to your application, such as a confirmation, a scheduling request, or a reminder.

4. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Lightning Logistics Carriers is not responsible for any charges from your wireless carrier.

5. How to opt out — reply STOP

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, and we will not send you any further texts unless you opt in again.

6. Help — reply HELP

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP for assistance, or contact us directly at info@lightningfxg.com or (689) 600-7280. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Privacy

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. For full details on how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
